Abstract. This article devoted to analyze specific features of Uzbek and English folk
works and folklore studies and creations in this field, as well as English and Uzbek
resemblance of ideological and artistic principles in folklore genres, mutuality of genres
relations and commonalities of English and Uzbek folklore genres and some
information about the principles of historical similarity.
