Pedagogical and Psychological Peculiarities of the Information and Communication Competence of Students

This article discusses the development of the concept of information and communication competence in students and shows its pedagogical and psychological features. Nowadays, information and communication technologies play a central role in the innovative growth of key sociocultural areas, and the construction of literate society's information and communication capabilities begins in educational institutions. In this regard, special attention should be made to developing a model of psychological and pedagogical support for the development of the major subjects of the educational process's information and communication competence. Determining information and communication competence is a tough process, not only because it is difficult to convey it in numbers, but also because it involves knowledge of the psychological elements that contribute to the construction of a modern person's personality.
